Meet our CEO

Michelle Prosser Haywood

Michelle has held a range of varying posts across the Education Sector, with a strong focus around Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and Inclusion.

Initially starting her teaching career in an inner London Primary school, she has undertaken a variety of roles across the education sector, within schools and multi academy trusts (MAT), specialist resource bases, advisory positions within a local authority and leading initial teacher training (ITT) within Higher Education.

Michelle holds a Masters’ qualification in Special Educational Needs and Educational Psychology, which enables her to have greater understanding of why children experience difficulties with learning and what strategies can be used to help them overcome them.

She also has a Diploma recognising her ability to assess, plan and deliver interventions for learners with specific learning difficulties and dyslexia, as well as being a Founder Member of the Chartered College (FCCT) and holding the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).

Michelle has recently set up the Ordinary Classrooms Educational Consultancy to write about and share knowledge on how to support and adapt learning for learners experiencing a wide range of difficulties with their learning and to support leadership in schools by providing training for all teachers from early career to executive leadership.

Michelle can offer school consultancy for either individual learners or for school staff around SEND, Inclusion and Safeguarding, leadership support and staff training.

Michelle can also offer leadership coaching, for middle, senior and executive leaders. Michelle can offer face to face or online coaching. Each coaching session is bespoke and will be negotiated depending on requirements.
